HREA works to advance gender equality and to ensure that women and girls across the globe are able to realize their human rights. HREA mainstreams gender throughout its programming and seeks to engage men and boys, alongside women and girls, throughout the range of e-learning instruction, face-to-face training and blended learning programs it offers in an effort to create lasting change.

Training and capacity building
HREA offers a range of e-learning courses and training workshops on gender equality and women’s empowerment. A Certificate Program in Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment will start in 2015. Further details and information about enrollment will become available shortly. In 2015 and 2016 new courses and workshops will be offered on Gender Analysis and Integration Framework; Gender, Health and Rights; Engaging Men and Boys in Gender Equality Programming; Gender and Education; and Women in Power and Decision-making.
